Description

The fellowship programme offers designers and researchers in the areas of architecture, design, digital culture, film, games and fashion the space to research for six months. An international jury of renowned curators, researchers and creative-industry professionals select proposals via an open call. Applicants are invited to address the open call’s theme from the perspective of architecture, design or digital culture, or to question these disciplines’ boundaries.

Fellows receive support in terms of content, workspace, and access to archives and receive a fee. The research can result in a public programme, exhibition, film or publication, in collaboration with Nieuwe Instituut.

All open calls can be found on the website of Nieuwe Instituut.

Target group

Designers and researchers from the sectors of architecture, design, digital culture, film, games and fashion (and possible crossovers), who work in the Netherlands or abroad.
