Description

DutchCulture has an international visitor programme for culture professionals from abroad with a cross-sectoral or multidisciplinary profile, such as journalists, policymakers, employees of multidisciplinary festivals and arts centres or professionals with a broad cultural focus.

Through this programme, DutchCulture makes it possible for international guests to get acquainted with the Dutch cultural and creative sectors. Knowledge exchange between professionals is essential during this exchange. The grant is intended to finance travel and accommodation costs.

In the assessment, priority will be given to applications aimed at visitors from the following countries: Belgium/Flanders, Brazil, China, Germany, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Suriname, Turkey, United States, United Kingdom, South Africa and South Korea.

Target group

Foreign culture professionals with a cross-sectoral or multidisciplinary profile, such as journalists, policymakers, employees of multidisciplinary festivals and arts centres, or professionals with a broad cultural focus.

Application conditions
  • You are a culture professional working outside of the Netherlands, or a Dutch culture professional that wants to bring a culture professional from abroad to the Netherlands.
  • As a visitor from abroad you would like to get acquainted with the professional climate and various organisations within the Dutch cultural and creative sectors and/or gain knowledge of Dutch cultural policy.
  • You speak and understand English.
